A recording from the International Day of Recognition - June 9, 2026 ************ Teresa Francis, Darlene Porter, Lisa Strong Nova Scotia Career Development Association The NSCDA's new portfolio program, EMPOWERED: The Portfolio Career adds the lenses of trauma-informed and narrative approaches in guiding individuals through a structured reflective and skill-building process. The seven-session program equips learners with a ‘portfolio mindset’ and supports them to identify and prove knowledge, skills and competencies in selected areas of their lives. The result? Individuals who recognize what they know and can do and are better prepared to adapt, engage and transition with confidence and intention. Join us to learn about the program (and the shorter, 4-session ‘Portfolio Mindset’ option) and hear from those who have completed it.
