Managing many access points with CAPsMAN (old version, up to WiFi5)
=== IMPORTANT NOTE === This is and old video for our older devices running older RouterOS versions. If you have a 802.11ax compatible (newer) device, it uses the new Wifi CAPsMAN settings, for more information, please see: https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/displa... ======================= UPDATE: Before you start, important note! Some devices have disabled the "local forwarding" setting in the capsman configuration template "datapath" tab. This tutorial assumes you have it checked. Some defices have different defaults, so just mark this checkbox to follow the steps in this tutorial. Local forwarding must be on! When you have one MikroTik access point, but want to add another one to widen your coverage, follow this tutorial and use CAPsMAN to manage as many APs as you want.
