One Day There'll Be No Tomorrow

A sincere question for those who believe "once saved, always saved." If a true believer can never lose salvation, regardless of what happens afterward, then what are all the New Testament warnings for? Why does Scripture repeatedly warn believers about: • Falling away (Hebrews 6:4–6) • Being cut off (Romans 11:20–22) • Being disqualified (1 Corinthians 9:27) • Continuing in the faith (Colossians 1:21–23) • Departing from the living God through an evil heart of unbelief (Hebrews 3:12) • Having one's name blotted out of the Book of Life (Revelation 22:19 NKJV) • Escaping the pollutions of the world only to become entangled again, with the latter end worse than the beginning (2 Peter 2:20–22) If none of these things can ever actually happen to a believer, why did God inspire these warnings? What is there to fear if the destination can never change? The warnings throughout the New Testament are not merely directed at unbelievers. They are repeatedly addressed to those who profess faith in Christ, urging them to continue, endure, abide, remain faithful, and not turn back. If falling away is impossible, why warn against it? If being cut off cannot happen, why say it? If being disqualified is impossible, why strive to avoid it? If no true believer can ever perish, what purpose do these warnings serve? I encourage everyone—whatever your theological position—to search the Scriptures carefully and let God's Word speak for itself. 📘 Check out my books, music, and merch on Facebook:   / 18mvastagj   #BibleStudy #SearchTheScriptures #OnceSavedAlwaysSaved #EternalSecurity #Perseverance #Hebrews6 #Romans11 #Revelation3 #1Corinthians9 #2Peter2 #Colossians1 #Faith #Repentance #Christianity #JesusChrist #TruthMatters #SolaScriptura #KJV #FaithfulFarmGirl
