Waterfall Day Hike in Shenkeng (#深坑), New Taipei City｜Ep. 5｜City Escape

Discover another hiking trail in Pingxi District, this time in the former mining village of Wanggu. Escape the bustle of the city on the Lingjiaoliao Mountain Trail. The adventures continue as Andre heads to Wanggu, Pingxi, New Taipei City to explore a special mountain trail that follows the historic railway line. First, he heads to nearby Wanggu Falls for his first dip into nature. After enjoying the falls it’s time to head onto the trail proper to enjoy a hike through Lingjiaoliao Peak (273 m) then onto Lingjiaoliao Waterfall. Along the way, Andre immerses himself in nature and enjoys the sights and sounds of the trail. Trains to Wanggu run on the local Pingxi line, but you can also get the Pingxi route tourist bus 795 from Muzha towards Shifen. Be aware that transport finishes early so don’t forget to check the timetable.
