Dry Cell - Disconnected [Album Advance - 2002]

Dry Cell are a Nu Metal band that formed in Los Angeles, California in 1998. The band originally went under the name Impúr. Warner Brother's A&R Executive Jeff Blue has described the band as "Like Metallica meets Incubus meets Linkin Park but heavier. No DJing, no rapping, very melodic and the kids are just phenomenal musicians." the song "Slip Away" was featured in the video game Freekstyle and the song "Body Crumbles" was featured in the movie "Queen Of The Damned." Disconnected was planned to be released on August 27th, 2002; but after an argument between Jeff Blue and a father of one of the band members' regarding promotion budget, Dry Cell we dropped from Warner Brothers and the album was never officially released. Advance copies was given to record stores shortly before the album's planned release while the version that was supposed to come out was only ever sold at the Locobazooka Festival in 2002. The advance version is by far the most common version of the album to find, but it is still very rare. While the rest of the album is not on streaming, the song "Body Crumbles" is.
