Today we're here to play around with a cheap contact mic from Amazon and do some sound design! Contact mics are pretty fun to mess around with, and they aren't that hard to make. However, I'm busy (read: lazy) and bought this one instead to mess around with. If you're looking for some new sounds, or perhaps just want to revisit some stuff you typically sample in a new way, this is pretty neat! If you're into sound design, contact mics are a ton of fun to investigate things in a new light and can make for some awesome percussion and tonal samples, and they can be had for next to nothing.
