Shillong & Cherrapunji Day 2 | Hidden Gems, Seven Sisters Falls, Konra Falls & Polo Resort | Meghalaya Travel Vlog Day 2 of my Meghalaya birthday trip was nothing less than a dream! ❤️ We started our journey from Shillong and headed towards Sohra (Cherrapunji), where our local friends took us to some of the most beautiful hidden gems that tourists often miss. From the breathtaking Konra Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India, to the iconic Seven Sisters Waterfall, every stop felt straight out of a postcard. We also explored hidden waterfalls, scenic viewpoints, rolling green hills, and landscapes that truly made Meghalaya feel like a Mini Scotland of India. One of the highlights of the day was having a delicious buffet lunch at Polo Resort with the stunning Seven Sisters Falls right in front of us. The crystal-clear blue sky, mesmerizing valley views, and amazing food made it an unforgettable experience. As the day came to an end, we enjoyed one of the most beautiful sunsets while driving back from Sohra to Shillong. We stayed overnight at a small homestay with a lovely city view before heading out in search of dinner. Since Shillong markets close early, almost everything was shut! Luckily, we found our way back to the Polo Hotel restaurant where we enjoyed a satisfying dinner before calling it a night.
