WMATA Metrobus: 2018 New Flyer ‘Xcelsior’ XN40 #3170 on Route A66 (New Route)

Seen here is a ride onboard 2018 New Flyer ‘Xcelsior’ XN40 #3170 on new route A66, heading towards Culmore. As part of the Better Bus initiative, all legacy Metrobus lines were replaced by the 2025 Better Bus Network. The A66 replaced portions of route 16C in Culmore and route 22A between Shirlington and the Pentagon via I-395 and Pentagon City. This route also provides extra service alongside ART Route 75 between S George Mason Dr/S Dinwiddie Street and Shirlington Station.
