Ample Hills Creamery is a homegrown Brooklyn ice cream company that has made several celebrities' lists of favorite things, including Oprah and Ellie Kemper from Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. It creates whimsical, delicious flavors by telling stories meant to take you back to your childhood. Ample Hills opened its first shop in 2011 and had to close after four days because it ran out of ice cream. But it has been growing ever since and now has 12 scoop shops across the US.
