Silent Unboxing: Turtle Beach - EarForce X12 Gaming Headset

The successor to the X11's. These are smaller, lighter and more comfortable. They also look sleek in black and green. The bass boost and bigger speakers is a nice plus. These work great with my Ear Force DSS. The sound that these put out for $60 is phenomenon. Highly recommend for gamers or just use as a PC headset. Product Review: Having owned both the X11's and X12's I must say the X12's are superior in sound and design. X12's have bigger speakers, bass boost and the ear cups cancel out background noise. The bass boost alone kills the X11's. With the X11's it was more of an open ear feel. There is more space between your ears and the speakers. So you could hear more background noise. Good for some people that want to hear whats going on around them. With the X12's it is hard to hear people in the same room that are talking to you while playing. I like that because I don't want to hear other sounds while gaming. Lastly, if you don't have the Tutle Beach DSS adapter your missing out on the REAL potential of the X12's. The sound is truly amazing!
