Our first stop was the Kargil War Memorial in Drass, a place that every Indian should visit at least once. Standing on the land where our brave soldiers fought during the Kargil War fills you with immense pride, gratitude, and respect. It was a truly humbling and emotional experience that we’ll never forget. As we continued our drive towards Leh, we were treated to endless mountain vistas, smooth highways carved through some of the toughest terrain, and breathtaking landscapes around every bend. A huge salute to the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) for building and maintaining these incredible roads that make this unforgettable journey possible. From relaxing at scenic cafés and enjoying delicious food to laughing through every mile with the boys, this day perfectly captured what a Leh Ladakh road trip is all about.
