Austin Pathfinder Restoration Part 1 - what needs doing to this vintage pedal car?
We recently acquired this original 1949 Austin Pathfinder restoration project from its owner since 1953, and in today's video I will be giving it an initial inspection to see what's good, and what's not so good about this fantastic vintage child's pedal car. A few days after collecting Austin's pint-sized interpretation of the Austin 750CC Twin Cam racer, I started to have a first look at what condition the bodywork, axles and mechanisms are in, and get an idea of the biggest job that will need to be done to bring back the Austin Pedal Car to original and working condition. If you like the look of this latest project then let me know in the comments below, and while you're at it tell me where you stand in regards to the original paintwork on the interior of the car.
