Birth of a Crippler in ECW!

Chris Benoit wrestled for ECW in 1994 and 1995 just after a short stint in WCW. Paul Heyman spotted potential in him and had plans to run with him as their main eventer. In the run up to this Benoit broke Sabu’s neck in a botch which resulted in Benoit getting the nickname The Crippler. Most of his matches were pretty good and he wrestled many future stars of the industry during his short stay. He even had time for a quick tag title reign with Dean Malenko.
