Mori Uttarakhand | A Paradise in the Garhwal Himalayas | Heavenly journeys

Hii friends, I am Sandeep and you are watching my youtube channel Heavenly journeys and today I bring to you my video on Mori hill station of Uttarakhand. Mori is a beautiful hill station nestled in the western Garhwal mountains of the Himalayas in Jaunsar Bawar region of Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand, Bharat. Mori is also famous for its beautiful Tons river(known to be the original stream of ancient Saraswati river), thick deodar and pine forest, beautiful green valley and base camp for the famous trek of Harkidun valley and Rupin Pass trek. The valley of Mori is very near to Himachal Pradesh's Shimla district. So it is a border town between Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The whole area of jaunsar bawar, mori and Harkidoon valley is known to be the area of ancient Sanatan Hindu Dharam as you will see the various temples of Pandavas, Kauravas and Mahasu Devta at Hanol, Jhakhol and Netwar. There are so many sightseeing attractions around Mori which you can enjoy such as rafting in the Tons river, camping, jungle walk, visiting places like kanasar, Netwar, Mahasu Devta Temple at Hanol, Rupin pass trek, Sankri, Jhakhol, Osla, Kedarkantha trek and Harkidun valley trek. This whole are of Rupin river, Supin river and Tons river is also considered important by the archeologists because recent research showing that Tons river was the original stream of Vedic Saraswati river.
