Vauxhall & Bedford - a bit of nostalgia: VBOA Rally Billing Event 2016
Vauxhall, a name still recognised today, is one of the oldest vehicle manufacturers in the UK. Here is a look back on many earlier models that are still on the road and treasured by their owners today. The company was started by Alexander Wilson as a pump and marine engine manufacturer in Vauxhall, London in 1857. Andrew Betts Brown purchased the business in 1863 and began producing motor cars in 1903. It was acquired by American owned General Motors in 1925 and commercial vehicles began being produced under the Bedford Vehicles brand in 1931. This video is part of the presentation of vehicles at the Vauxhall Bedford Opel Association (VBOA) event at Billing Aquadrome, Northampton. July 17th 2016.
