The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) is in the midst of an institutional, educational, and ethical crisis caused primarily by the authorities led by Rector Leonardo Lomelí Vanegas. His responsibility for privatizing the undergraduate entrance exam and facilitating cheating through the use of artificial intelligence is now being shifted entirely onto the students, including those who passed honestly and those who were displaced by the corrupt officials.
