Is America's Overdose Capital really as bad as they say? ( Huntington, West Virginia ) 🇺🇸

Checked out Huntington, West Virginia recently (the second largest city in the state) and found the place to be very interesting. Huntington has somewhat of a heavy history - it's been called the 'Overdose Capital of America' because of the brutal opioid crisis that hit really hard here – West Virginia's had some of the worst overdose rates in the country, and Huntington/Cabell County was right in the middle of it with crazy high numbers back in the day. I took a stroll around town, saw some of the spots, and will give you a firsthand look at what the city looks like today. Also covered the tragic Marshall University plane crash from 1970 that killed 75 people – the whole football team, coaches, and others – it's still a big deal for the community and you can feel it when you're there. Not trying to just focus on the bad stuff, but it's part of what makes Huntington what it is.
