Moonlight Serenade (Glenn Miller) – Reimagined for Jazz Quartet | Ernesto Cervini Quartet
Glenn Miller's Moonlight Serenade has always been one of my favourite melodies. When putting together music for my new quartet, I started wondering what this classic might sound like if it were written for a modern jazz quartet rather than a big band. This arrangement grew out of that idea, keeping the spirit of the original while creating space for improvisation and conversation between the musicians. Ernesto Cervini Quartet • Kaelin Murphy – trumpet • Andrew Marzotto – guitar • Mark Godfrey – bass • Ernesto Cervini – drums Arrangement by Ernesto Cervini If you enjoyed this performance, please consider subscribing for more original music, arrangements, and videos from the quartet. This quartet's debut album will be released later this year on TPR Records. Subscribe to follow the journey and hear new music as it's released.
