So, without further ado, let's begin. The Tobalaba Urban Market is a space that opens up to the neighborhood, offering fairs, markets, numerous shops, as well as terraces and green areas. The MUT is located at Av. Apoquindo 2770. Its hours are Monday to Sunday, 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and you can access it on foot, by bicycle, by metro, or by car. It is connected to the Tobalaba metro station and has parking for cars and 2,000 bicycle parking spaces, which I will show you later, as well as fast-charging stations for electric vehicles. The space boasts a very attractive and spacious design, with interior and exterior spaces featuring materials like wood, stone, steel, and concrete, which together form the identity of MUT. Its architectural design incorporates spaces and structures to generate natural air renewal, allowing for humidity control. 100% of the energy used is renewable: wind, hydroelectric, and solar. And now, let's continue... MUT currently has 66 shops open, 63 markets, and numerous workshops such as storytelling, astronomy, sculpture, and cooking, among others. If you're someone who loves to stroll, walk, and enjoy a delicious coffee or tea, like me, this place is ideal, because there are many beautiful cafes on almost every floor. Many people also come to work remotely, either in the cafes or in the various spaces MUT offers, which have chairs and tables perfect for spending time on your computer. Now I'm going to show you and talk about the bike hub, I think that's how it's pronounced. Since MUT encourages the use of clean transportation, it has 2,000 parking spaces for bicycles and scooters. There are also showers, lockers, workshops, and a whole world of amenities to make cyclists feel welcome and integrated into MUT. As I've already mentioned, MUT has a commitment to sustainability. Of the tons of waste they produce daily, none will end up in landfills. 50% of the waste will be recycled through agreements with companies. MUT's organic waste, which makes up 40% of the project's total waste, will be treated by a biodigester, which processes it and generates fertilizer and biogas. On the third floor, there's this beautiful garden, a space to express yourself, connect, and meet. This smoke-free space is gorgeous and visible. The garden uses 100% recycled rainwater, capturing ambient humidity, recycling greywater, and injecting liquid fertilizer into MUT's biodigester. This green space not only reduces the impact of high temperatures and improves air quality, but also creates a refuge for people and wildlife.
