The Spawn Changed Everything... But We Still Caught Fish

The heat and humidity were in full force for this evening/night trip on the river. With the catfish spawn appearing to be underway, the bite wasn't as aggressive as it had been in previous weeks—but patience paid off. Fishing from the bank with live bluegill, I managed to catch three eater-size blue cats while enjoying everything a summer night on the river has to offer.
