5 Campus Resources Your College Freshman Should Find Before Move-In
Your college freshman does not need to wait until they are failing a class, physically sick, or emotionally overwhelmed to figure out where to get help. In this episode, I explain why incoming freshmen should locate five important campus resources before classes begin: Their academic advisor The tutoring or academic support center The campus counseling center Student health services Their professors’ offices and office hours I also share simple conversation starters students can use when asking for help and questions parents can ask when they receive an overwhelmed phone call. These questions can help your freshman think through the problem, identify campus support, and build the confidence to handle their next step. Asking for help is not a sign that they are failing at adulthood. Asking for help is an adult skill. Get the free Before You Call Home College Help Finder: https://cheerful-writer-462.kit.com/b...
