The MLB Bible Controversy Just Got WORSE

Three San Francisco Giants pitchers just turned Pride Night into one of the biggest controversies of the MLB season — and now Rob Schneider is stepping in with his wallet. On June 12 at Oracle Park, starter Landen Roupp and relievers JT Brubaker and Ryan Walker took the mound wearing the team's rainbow "SF" Pride caps, but with Bible verse references written across them in white lettering. Roupp's hat read "Gen 9:12-16" — a passage where the rainbow is described as the sign of God's covenant with the Earth. A fourth pitcher, Sam Hentges, declined to wear the Pride cap entirely.
