But this accessory has evolved over time and has also become an automator of the car's systems, preparing it for the moment when the driver leaves the car and also for the moment when the driver returns to the car. Among these functions that have become fundamental for Brazilians are locking and raising the windows. But alarm manufacturers have been innovating every year, and this week I tested the new Tarsafe TW30 G4 from the Taramps brand, already known in the automotive sector for manufacturing reliable, high-power sound amplifiers. The Tarsafe TW30 G4 alarm has all the normal functions of the alarms we are used to seeing, but it also has some very interesting new features, and it is these that I will pay more attention to today. The first and most interesting, which will greatly help the installer's life, even speeding up each installation by at least half an hour, is the intelligent siren that communicates with the alarm control panel without the need for a wire connecting the two parts. This greatly speeds up the installer's life, as running one or more wires through the firewall can be a real ordeal in some cars, taking from half an hour to an hour, and this cannot be charged extra by the electrician, who ends up losing this time and missing out on other work during that same time. And as a bonus, there's also the possibility of connecting the hood switch wire to the siren itself, since it has a standby wire to receive the signal from that sensor. This alarm model already comes with a remote control with a presence function that allows the alarm control panel to know when the remote control is near and when it is far from the vehicle, and with this information, the control panel knows when it's time to release the car's engine and when it's time to lock it. Another feature that works in conjunction with the presence remote control is locking and unlocking as the remote control moves away from and closer to the car. In addition to the remote control with the presence function, it also comes with a remote control with a flip key; you just need to enter the key code on the key fob and start using it normally. A convenience that is not yet widely known among customers is the ability to open the garage door using the car's light signal. With the Tarsafe TW30 G4 alarm, it's possible to enable an electronic gate control by connecting the brown wire of the alarm to the positive wire of the high beam. This way, when the high beam is activated twice within 2 seconds, the alarm control unit sends the electronic gate frequency to automatically open it. It also has other functionalities with more technical features, such as the ability to activate the interface system of some newer cars without the need to install a separate interface device, as it communicates directly with the car's comfort module, and also the control of automatically adjustable ultrasonic sensors. Finally, I recommend using the Tarsafe TW30 4G because it has all the possible functionalities in an alarm and also facilitates installation, saving the installer time.
