Rogers also talks about seeing urban style becoming global style, saying, "At first I felt a way," adding that she's grown used to it, but says it remains important the originators be given credit, adding, "Know where it came from and respect that.' Having put in time as a model for DKNY, Discount Universe and Gypsy Sport, Rogers comments on racism in the fashion industry and her concern that the uptick in minority models as of late is just a trend that could go away when the look changes. Examining the impact of the internet on her generation, Rogers says there is often a disconnect between how people present themselves online and how they are in real life. She also discusses how she maintains her own mental health by taking time outs from the internet.
