The protagonist of this video is a crawler that mounted a polyfuel engine with a special head patented by Prof. Fortunato Boghetto, an engine that at the time was absolutely revolutionary. Its "stratified charge" technology allowed it to work with practically all types of fuel available on the market. This engine was not very successful due to various reasons, first of all the complexity of the various calibrations necessary for its good functioning. In this video we show a rare example with the original and perfectly functioning engine, with all the explanations on its history, on its functioning and the images of the inside of the head designed and patented by Prof. Fortunato Boghetto. The paint is not the original "Colonial" one (sand) because at the end of the conflict these tractors were repainted with the classic FIAT color, but everything is rigorously preserved.
