Once lacking in collaborative projects, French rap is now catching up and multiplying joint initiatives. After the success of 13'Organisé, two Lyon-based MCs are joining forces for a project. RAPRNB met with the two rappers from the 69 district, #Sasso and #LAllemand, to learn more about their hometown and their influences... While L'Allemand had previously offered us a guided tour of his neighborhood, this time RAPRNB wanted to learn more about the city of Lyon and its legends by asking the two rappers questions about their hometown. Each of them shared a few words about their neighborhood's specialty. Sasso and L'Allemand also discussed one of the city's specificities: its vocabulary. They shared a few words in Javanese and discussed their use of the essential "pelo." It's difficult to talk about Lyon without mentioning football and the legendary players who have played for the club. Especially when you consider how passionate both artists are about football. The interview is also an opportunity to learn more about rap from the 69 district and the big names who inspired them in their early days. While L'Allemand tells us about a group from his neighborhood, Ming8 Halls Starf, Sasso mentions ALZ, a group that has strongly influenced him.
