Özgür Çelik Kartal Cemevi'nde konuştu: Zalimlikleri, dayanışma içerisinde aşacağımız günler yakın!

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Nuri Aslan, speaking at a Lokma (a type of communal meal) program held at the Kartal Cemevi (Alevi place of worship), said, “Our Mayor Ekrem asks that the fasts observed and the meals shared in the path of righteousness be accepted and deemed worthy; and that you do not withhold your prayers from me and all the oppressed who, like me, await justice. He hopes that we will soon meet at communal tables where justice prevails and we can embrace each other freely. We also want to see our Mayor Ekrem and all those unjustly imprisoned by our side as soon as possible.” The newly elected CHP Istanbul Provincial Chairman Özgür Çelik also stated, “Hazrat Ali says: ‘Even if you are wronged a thousand times, do not be a tyrant even once.’ Today, we are faced with various forms of tyranny. I would like to express that the days when we will overcome these tyrannies together, in solidarity, are near. I hope that the fasts observed in mourning will contribute to the unity, togetherness, brotherhood, and solidarity of our country.”
