Westpoint Regatta Weekend July 2026 No Racing for Us

What was supposed to be a nice weekend turned up more than a bit short. We booked and paid for sailing in the Westpoint Regatta as we had done for many years. But the local Harbor Master did not approve Luna Sea for docking. We don't know the reason, but we didn't want to go where we were not welcome. It's unlikely we will ever go back. Instead, we just went out for a sail in the bay and tried to get some pictures of our would-be competitors. Both Windwalk and Kapai looked very nice and Windwalker was in second overall and way ahead of everyone in her fleet when we saw her.
