Amtrak Denver to Glenwood Springs - Three-Day Weekend

Weekend trips to the mountains are one of the perks of living in Colorado’s Front Range. For a unique take on the three-day weekend, we chose to leave the car at home and climb aboard the train so we could relax and enjoy the scenery along the way. We packed our time in Glenwood Springs with the exciting and the relaxing, paragliding, biking, hiking the well-known Hanging Lake Trail and wrapping up with a soak in at the Iron Mountain Hot Springs while awaiting our delayed train home.
