Meshuggah - Rational Gaze Guitar Cover (w/Tab&Lyrics)

My story for this song.. I couldn't quite get that groove on my lovely ibanez 7 string (to be seen soon) but as soon as I got this Etherial beast, feeling that low string.. it really is hard to describe how an 8 is just different. Not quite a bass, definitely not just a standard electric guitar, even compared to 7 strings, though in tunings like ragnarok you still learn to give it the same treatment. You can still give it a solid impact, but the tension difference, that even when up to full tension at that low tuning, it needs space to vibrate. So as soon as I really gave it a go with this incredible, unique instrument, it fell into place somehow so much easier than with a detuned 7. The song itself.. well those lyrics. If you think too much, it can lead you down an intense road, let's put it that way!
