A sermon delivered by C. H. Spurgeon one Thursday evening, early in 1857. Mary and Joseph lost Jesus at the age of 12. It seems almost unbelievable that such a precious child could be lost. They found Him four days later. Here Spurgeon takes us with the anxious couple, in their efforts to find Him again. Spurgeon, of course, is describing those times in which we lose sight of our Lord, and do not even realise His absence. How we need to stay near to our Lord Jesus!
