How to Install Front Fork Lowering Kit For Harley Softail

This video shows how-to lower the front of your Harley using the Progressive Suspension "drop in" fork lowering kit. Bike shown is my 99 Softail dubbed project Slamtail. Link to kit that was installed in this video: https://amzn.to/3ecI9Sd And just for confusion purposes: the kit calls to drop in the main spring, the compensator spring, a washer, pvc spacer and another washer. From experience, I prefer to drop in the main spring, a washer, the pvc spacer, another washer and then the compensator spring . It doesn't matter which way you chose, the compensator spring compresses fully under bike weight in either position. I find my method easier to install and keeps both springs from chaffing on each other. Contact: [email protected]
