SERIOUS FAULTS (THREE POINTS) a) Failing to place one foot on the ground and the other on the brake when stopping the vehicle. b) Invading any lane during the course. c) Incorrectly signaling or failing to do so. d) Driving the course with the headlights off. e) Committing any other serious traffic violation. MEDIATE OFFENCES (TWO POINTS) a) Using the equipment incorrectly. b) Engaging or using inappropriate gears during the course. c) Not retracting the kick starter or vehicle kickstand before starting the course. d) Stopping the engine without just cause after the test has started. e) Driving the vehicle during the test without holding the handlebars with both hands, except when indicating maneuvers. f) Committing any other moderate traffic violation. MINOR OFFENCES (ONE POINT) a) Starting the engine when it is already in gear. b) Driving the vehicle causing irregular movement without just cause. c) Adjusting the rearview mirrors during the test. d) Committing any other minor traffic violation.
