The five female managers of Chuo Gakuin (Chiba), who will be competing in this spring's national baseball tournament, have been running the club's website since December 2022 in an effort to raise awareness of the team. The content, including player profiles with photos, is on a par with that of a college baseball website, and Mao Fukuda (2nd year) said, "I hope that many people across the country will learn about Chuo Gakuin." The website, which was launched about a year ago, also features a "Manager Diary." Along with photos taken by the managers, the diary introduces daily practice and managerial duties. During the New Year's training camp, the diary is updated almost daily to share the team members' hard work. Because of their passionate feelings for their team members, they sometimes spend a week thinking about completing the document and rewriting it multiple times. Fukuda says, "It makes me happy when parents tell me they saw it. I want to keep working hard so that more people can see it." Chuo Gakuin will be participating in the national tournament for the second time since 2018. While the manager usually supports the team behind the scenes by preparing meals and maintaining the environment, he shares the same passion for Koshien as the players. They will run together toward their dream stage.
