How to change a Scalextric Sport Braid and Guide Blade. Scalextric braid replacement. Scalextric Guide blade replacement. If your cars not running well on the track 90% of the time it’s down to the braids, worn braids won’t make a good connection with the track and will leave your cars sluggish or not running at all. If you’ve been really unlucky and broken a guide blade then your car won’t stay in the slot and will need changing. Check out our video on how to change both.
