In this video, I visit the Grevenbroich wind test site. Inland wind turbines have been tested here since 1998. The test site is located on a former spoil heap from a lignite open-cast mine. It is operated by Windtest Grevenbroich GmbH. Currently, the following turbines are located here: Enercon E-160 EP5 E2 with a 140 m MST tower and 5.5 MW output Eviag ev2.93 with an 85 m NH tower, 2.05 MW output Vensys 120 with a 90 m NH tower, 3 MW output Siemens SWT 2.3-93, 133 m NH tower, 2.3 MW output Agile Vertical Sky A32, 78 m NH tower, 0.75 MW output Nordex N131, 134 m NH tower, 3 MW output Enjoy the video! ...
