Belanger/Sonny's Tunnel | Alltown Car Wash, Taftville, Connecticut

On June 12, 2026, I washed my uncle's 2011 Acura MDX during my recent visit to Connecticut for my youngest cousin's high school graduation. This was my second car wash while I was there. The car wash opened as an Xtramart site and originally had a Belanger ProClass 100, with all of its original equipment. A single MacNeil Tech 21 dryer was likely installed shortly after. Alltown took over Xtramart around 2021-2022, and then in 2024-2025, they replaced the first two mitters, rockers, and gyro wraps with Sonny's equipment. The third mitter, wave full side washers, dryers, and multi-purpose arches are the only Belanger equipment pieces that remain. While the wash didn't meet my expectations, it performed well overall. However, I believe the drying system could use improvement. Specifically, the single Tech 21 dryer should be replaced with at least three Peco or Sonny’s dryers. I feel that one Tech 21 dryer is insufficient for drying the car, while the Belanger Aircanons do a satisfactory job. I hope they can retain at least the Belanger Aircanon dryers, wave full side washers, and the wave across side-to-side mitter (which is located behind the wave full side washers). Not only do these pieces work well and rank among my favorite bits of Belanger equipment in this tunnel, but they also complement the new Sonny's equipment nicely. Overall, it’s a decent car wash, and I think it’s one of the best express washes in the Norwich/Taftville area. I ran out of storage at the beginning of the video after we started going through the first mitter, which is why my aunt let me use her phone for the remainder of the video. This is also why there’s a cut to the brushes at 1:20. I apologize for that.
