Driving a 5 Year Old Tesla Model S Plaid 2000 Miles and What I Learned

Electric cars are becoming very cheap to buy on the used market. After buying a Model S Plaid, I wanted to see what life looks like trying to road trip an electric car that has over 1,000 Horse Power.. The cost results shocked us and the comparisons shocked us even more. The thing about high performance EV's is that they still run just about as efficiently as the base or long range models unlike the V8 competitors. I'm not for one second saying that EV performance cars are better than gas performance cars because they simply are not. EV's have a long way to go both in charging infostructure and performance handling to stand on a level playing field with gas powered performance cars. My test results may vary from other channels but I am simply sharing what happened on our drive and hope it helps you determine if an EV could fit in your life.
