Brigham has had this model for 10 years and it has been a work-horse. Between Brigham and his kids, the piano is played on constantly. This instrument is near world class. As far as touch, tone, and durability, it comes close to the quality of world class instruments for a fraction of the price. After ten years, Brigham's piano is still in great condition, so this brand new piano of the same model will serve anyone well. Brigham makes the bold statement that this piano is very close to the same category as world class is because Hailun uses high quality components and engineering. Everything from the strings, pin-block, soundboard, the hammers, the dampers, the action, the keys, is very well put together and makes for a great piano. Ultimately it comes down to the rich, round tone that is not common for pianos of this size and price range. This instrument is so good, plays so well, and is reasonably priced. There isn't a better value for your money in the entire industry than Hailun. This is an East-meets-West scenario. All of the desing work, blueprints, engineering, is done by four Westerners (3 Europeans and an American guy). Because pianos are so labor-intensive to manufacture, you have all the manufacturing done in China by passionate and invested piano technicians. We've sold hundreds of Hailun pianos at Brigham Larson Pianos, and any of the stereotypes about Chinese manufactured goods being less quality does not hold up against the quality of these pianos.
