He is a historian from Bandeirante University of São Paulo and a theologian from Medina University in Saudi Arabia, as well as holding a master's degree in Communication from the Methodist University of São Bernardo do Campo. With studies in Islamic Theology, he gives lectures on Islamic Sciences and Islamophobia. Currently, he presides over CALCEE - the Arab-Latin Center for Culture and Strategic Studies - and is a researcher at GRACIAS - the Anthropology Group in Islamic and Arab Contexts.
