CE Marking for Structural Steelwork | What It Means for the Construction Industry
CE Marking represents one of the most significant regulatory changes for the construction industry in recent decades, ensuring that structural steel products and fabricated steelwork meet harmonised European safety, quality and performance standards. Following the introduction of the Construction Products Regulation (CPR), CE Marking became mandatory across all EU and EEA member states, and from 1 July 2014, all fabricated structural steelwork placed on the market must be CE marked. With CE Marking now embedded into UK law, selecting a certified steelwork contractor is essential. All BCSA members are required to hold CE Marking accreditation, giving clients confidence in quality, competence and regulatory compliance. Learn more: https://steelconstruction.info/CE_mar...
