Today we visit the George Pentland Botanic Gardens in Frankston, Victoria. I catch up with Matthew Wisniewski, a fellow who has been dedicating his spare time over the past four years to planting and revegetating areas of the botanic gardens, filling the place with mostly Banksia species and Grevilleas. I was very impressed with Matthew's Knowledge and passion for Australian native plants, especially Banksias. It is such a wonderful thing he is doing, and I think this place is lucky to have him. I was blown away by the beauty of the botanic garden, with it's old, well-looked-after trees and plantings. The place is a must-visit for people interested in Australian plants and for families looking to have a day out and soak up the relaxing atmosphere of this location. Sit back and enjoy our adventure.
