Editor's Note: On the scorching August 23rd, we embarked on a shoot in Yokohama, unaware that it was the day of the Koshien(All Japan High School Baseball Championship) baseball finals. The atmosphere was lively with Koshien excitement, as Keio High School from Kanagawa Prefecture made it to the finals for the first time in 103 years. Despite typically requesting to turn off background music for ASMR purposes, we decided to keep the Koshien game broadcast on the TV during filming, capturing the scene of the local team's performance. Amidst the local baseball fervor, the comprehensive hairstyling experience at the traditional barbershop provided a truly special experience. Hair Salon Iwata is an established barbershop in Honmoku, continuing its legacy for about 80 years. They participate in local festivals, carry mikoshi (portable shrines), organize an annual "Iwata Cup" golf competition for regulars, and are cherished by the local community as a hub.
