Siemens Healthineers - where is the name from?

Where does the name Healthineers come from? Siemens’ medical technology division was renamed Healthineers in 2016. Neither Siemens nor Siemens Healthineers has been able to provide an explanation for this so far. I coined the neologism “Healthgineering” in 2012 for the spin-off of Schug Medical GmbH. The geographical proximity of all parties involved—approximately 60 kilometers apart—adds further significance to the case.
