Inisheer / Wise Maid: 🇮🇪🏝(ft: Patrick D'Arcy) Patrick D’Arcy is one of our dearest friends and Getty bandmates. He plays a slew of wind instruments from whistles, flutes, harmonica, and of course the Uilleann Pipes seen here. The Uilleann (“elbow” in Gaelic) or Irish bagpipes are distinctive for moving the air with bellows rather than lungs and has a much mellower and sweeter sound than many bagpipe varieties. Patrick lives in LA performing in the Irish music scene, teaching, and playing sessions which also includes soundtracks for Hollywood films.
