Kuritama Memo Keep in any matchup Daiyugi, Tico, Slumber Generally keep this set Daiyugi or Slumber + Linkle Matchups where they don't attack Keep up to 2 2-draw cards (I don't want to hold 2 Sammy & Mary) Roy, Nemesis (Assuming AF) 2-draw + Blast Against AF, it's strong to build a board with Ara in the mid-game and deal damage, so consider keeping Ara with Wisdom + 2-draw. (If you can lower the maximum with Linkle, it's easier to win with Latica) Roy is an unfavorable matchup, so you can't win without 2 Ticos in the early game. If going second, build a board with Ginger's Super Evolution. Ginger is strong when going first, but you don't need to force it. It might be better to maintain high health, play a Linkle game depending on your hand, and then play two rush cards to win. Against Roy AF, even if you play Ginger + Ara, it will be countered by Nacht or Imari, so it's important to keep Ara on the next turn (because it's strong for removal). Elf is easier to fight compared to the other two, and its random removal of stealth followers is strong. Citrus is strong in the early game, so Linkle removal is important; keep it alongside your draw cards. Elf, Roy, and AF generally lack healing, so playing 2-3 Linkles in the early to mid-game and then playing Latica twice often leads to a win. Depending on your hand's draw sources and deck size, you can also play a Linkle game. Matchups where you want to play a Linkle game: Demon Hand, Mode, Bishop, Destruction Dragon is also okay to some extent. Against Dragon Keep only Linkle and use Linkle and Tico to reduce their health a few points early on. If you can deal damage with Latica or Ara, create a situation where they'll lose without healing, preventing them from evolving with Ilanza. Be proactive in trying to avoid taking damage that turn by evolving Tico and playing followers on the turn before their 7PP rush. For Transformation, don't force it on turn 2; consider whether you should play it after drawing two cards. Since there are only 12 recovery points in the deck, you should be careful when deciding whether to discard Family Gathering or Slumber's recovery. Even against opponents where you want to play a Linkle game, if you see a 20 Latica, don't super-evolve into Linkle; play a Spellboost game and reduce their health to 16 with Linkle. This is because having 10 Linkle cards in the deck lowers the expected draw value from the deck. This has become quite long, but this deck is really difficult because it's so complex. By the way, I generally don't carry Latika. This isn't a deck that absolutely needs 20 boosts. Tico is usually played at turn 3 to control the tempo; there's no need to save it until the evolution turn. I often use it when I conveniently draw a second copy.
