While at the Gothenburg Botanical Gardens in Sweden, I met up with Åsa Kullin, the new Head Gardener of the Orchid Collection. As she shared with me, she had big shoes to fill, after taking over the collection from her colleague. The entire orchid collection of 1,000+ species at the Botanical Gardens is all in one room, which provides its own unique challenges—many of which can be translated to our own homes, so I figured I'd edit this short conversation together to share some of her troubleshooting tips.
