Sonar Research Company conducted a survey on this subject over the past 32 days. 41% of the Turkish population doesn't know what a patriarchate is. 22% think the Patriarchate is something like the Greek Presidency of Religious Affairs. 33% describe it as a church. So, according to the same survey, should the Patriarchate remain in Türkiye or leave? 48% disapprove of the Patriarchate's existence, while 28% approve. The percentage of those who have no opinion is quite high: 24%. For the first time in 32 days, this taboo subject has been opened. What is the Patriarchate? What do its opponents say?
