🐴🔥 Chinese Spring Festival 2026 | The Anchorage, Trinidad 🇹🇹 The Year of the Fire Horse has arrived in Trinidad — and it showed up in style! We made our way down to The Anchorage for the Chinese Spring Festival 2026, and the energy was absolutely electric from start to finish. The Fire Horse is no ordinary zodiac year. It only comes around once every 60 years, and true to form, this celebration brought a boldness and passion that you could feel in the air. The Fire Horse is said to embody passion, enthusiasm, and a fervent zest for life (SinoCultural) — and every moment of this festival reflected exactat. The Lion Dance was one of the highlights of the night — a burst of colour, rhythm, and tradition that had the crowd hyped from the jump. The beating of the drums was relentless, and watching the performers bring those lions to life is something you just don't forget. Out on the water, the Dragon Boat display was a whole vibe on its own — power, precision, and pageantry rolled into one incredible spectacle. And between all the performances, the food had us staying way longer than planned. Dumplings, roast pork, rice dishes, and traditional sweets — the flavours were as rich as the culture on display. Trinidad's Chinese community truly showed out for this one.
