V3-Your First Simulation in Simcenter 3D 🚀 | 3D Mesh, Loads & Results
🚀 In this video, we perform our first complete simulation in Simcenter 3D. Starting from the FEM model created earlier, we create a 3D mesh, assign material properties, apply boundary conditions, and solve a simple cantilever beam problem. The model used is a hollow beam fixed at one end and subjected to a point load at the other end. In this tutorial, you will learn: ✅ Creating a Simulation (.sim) file ✅ Understanding the role of the SIM file ✅ Applying loads and constraints ✅ Solving the model ✅ Viewing displacement results ✅ Viewing stress results in Post View ✅ Understanding basic FEA workflow This is the first complete finite element analysis example in the series and forms the foundation for future tutorials. 🔜 In the next video, we will solve the same problem using 2D shell elements and compare the results with the 3D model. #Simcenter3D #FEA #CAE #MechanicalEngineering #Simulation #FiniteElementAnalysis #EngineeringTutorial #StressAnalysis #StructuralAnalysis #CAEEngineer
